Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Support Engineer III to support chemical treatment programs within a customer's pulp and paper manufacturing environment. This role is highly hands-on and responsible for maintaining chemical feed systems, conducting testing, monitoring process performance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the mill.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical and mechanical aptitude with a chemical engineering mindset and enjoys working in a plant environment. This individual will work closely with mill personnel, technicians, and customer stakeholders to ensure treatment programs are operating efficiently, safely, and effectively.
This role also offers a defined growth path into future Site Manager and customer-facing account leadership opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of experience within a manufacturing, process engineering, chemical treatment, or industrial operations environment.
Bachelor's degree in:
Chemical Engineering
Chemistry
Paper Science
Environmental Engineering
Related technical discipline
Experience working in a pulp and paper manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of industrial chemical treatment systems and plant operations.
Experience supporting, troubleshooting, or maintaining:
Pumps
Chemical feed systems
Feed skids
Dosing systems
Process equipment
Experience reviewing process data and operating conditions to identify performance issues.
Ability to conduct routine and non-routine chemical testing and interpret results.
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
Experience managing chemical inventory, transfers, and onsite chemical handling.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with operations teams, technicians, and customers.
Willingness to work onsite in a mill environment and perform field-based work.
