Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA Engineer to join our team. As an Oracle DBA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performing Oracle databases on Oracle 19c and Exadata platforms. Your expertise will ensure the optimal performance, security, and availability of our databases, as well as develop tools to monitor and enhance oversight of our database systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Oracle DBA skills with Oracle 19c and Oracle Exadata
• Experience with DB system engine setup and maintenance, including DB space setup and allocation
• Proficiency in SQL, including table joins, transaction size management, commits, and rollbacks
• Ability to detect and resolve issues impacting database performance, causing site latency
• Experience with optimization tuning and data exports/imports
• Knowledge of archiving and restore processes
• Strong Python skills to develop tools for monitoring, alerting, and enhancing oversight of database systems
• Intermediate-level skills in Linux (SLES15) operating system

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA Engineer
• Experience with database performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Knowledge of database security best practices
• Certification in Oracle Database Administration (OCP or OCM) is a plus
