An employer is looking for a Java/Functional Automation Testing Engineer (Remote) to perform 50% java development and 50% functional and integration testing. This team falls in the healthcare domain and you will work on several new and existing projects.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in backend software engineering, building and supporting scalable, production-grade systems
Strong proficiency in Java, with hands-on experience in modern Java versions
Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Spring Batch for developing microservices and batch-processing applications
Experience working with NoSQL databases, preferably Azure Cosmos DB
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures and real-time data streaming
Experience deploying and operating applications in containerized environments, including Kubernetes
Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases
Strong experience with functional and integration testing, writing and executing Java test scripts
Database automation functional and integration testing experience
API automation testing with RestAssured or similar
Strong Java scripting skills for writing automated regression test scripts from scratch
UI, API and database automation testing experience
Strong SQL server and SQL query expertise
Proficient with bug tracking software like JIRA
Adept at debugging, troubleshooting, and critical thinking
