One of our large retail customers is seeking a GCP/Kubernetes Engineer to join their team in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a long-term contract opportunity, and the ideal candidate will have strong experience in Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and GitHub Actions. This growing team is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Kubernetes clusters in a GCP environment. You will work to develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, and GitHub Actions. You will also monitor and optimize system performance using Prometheus and Grafana. This role is also automating deployments and operational workflows using Python, Ansible, and Node.js.
This is a hybrid role (2x onsite per week) while also responsible for performing on-call support, troubleshoot incidents, and lead root cause analysis efforts.

Compensation: $45-55/HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. 4+ years' experience in Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Helm.
Proficiency in Python, Ansible, and Node.js for automation and scripting.
Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
Solid knowledge of Linux systems and troubleshooting.
Ability to perform on-call support and incident triage as needed.
Google Cloud Architect Certification.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
AI/ML experience is a plus.
