Job Description
We are seeking a Compensation Analyst to support and scale compensation programs in a high‑growth environment with a large volume of active job postings. This role partners closely with managers and HR stakeholders to evaluate roles, support compensation program intake, and ensure competitive, consistent, and compliant pay practices across the organization.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable interfacing with business leaders while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
-Create and maintain job descriptions aligned to internal leveling frameworks and market benchmarks
-Partner directly with people managers and HR partners to support compensation-related requests and decisions
-Conduct intake discussions to understand business needs related to compensation programs, role scope, and organizational changes
-Support ongoing compensation programs, including job evaluations, pricing, and recommendations
-Assist with managing compensation needs across ~800 active job postings, ensuring consistency and timely turnaround
-Analyze internal and external compensation data to support pay decisions
-Maintain accurate compensation data and documentation within Workday
-Support reporting and ad-hoc compensation analysis using Excel
-Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable compensation practices

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree required
-2+ years of experience in compensation
-1+ year of experience with Workday
-Experience working directly with people managers and cross-functional stakeholders
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (comparing interbal job data vs. market data, building tables, percentile calculations, VLOOKUPs, calculating merit increases, etc)
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Previous healthcare experience
-Multi-state experience (California experience would be preferrable)
