Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Designer to join a growing team in Phoenix, AZ. This Electrical Designer prepares detailed electrical design and construction documents in accordance with applicable codes, jurisdictional requirements, and established internal standards. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include developing power distribution, lighting, and systems layouts, as well as performing electrical load and energy calculations in accordance with NEC and energy code requirements. The role supports arc‑flash analysis efforts by developing accurate one‑lines, equipment data, and coordination information used for studies and labeling. The designer coordinates closely with project managers, engineers, and other design disciplines to ensure system integration, drawing accuracy, and constructability. Additional tasks include participating in design reviews, supporting field investigations, and incorporating redlines and as‑built conditions into updated construction documents. This role can pay up to 130K based on an evaluation of total relevant years of experience and education level.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience of electrical design supporting Commercial Industry (New Construction).
Proficient with AutoCAD and REVIT
Strong understanding of NFPA NEC and International Building Codes
