Job Description

An Insight Global customer is seeking to hire a Sr. Mechanical Process Engineer on their facilities team to design, install and commission the mechanical process utility systems (such as cooling towers, chilled water, condensed water, steam, hot water, reclaim water, potable water, and process vacuum systems) for a new manufacturing facility in North Phoenix. This role is one of the first key roles being hired at this new facility so there is immense opportunity for upward mobility in the future. It is expected that this person is capable of making an immediate impact without much training or oversight. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing engineering drawings, submittals and driving construction project schedules.
- Partnering with vendors to ensure proper equipment installation and commissioning.
- Update and distribute mechanical process system documentation, manuals, and processes.
- Train the initial team of technicians for the team.
- Develop preventative maintenance systems and emergency response procedures.
- Further responsibilities related to capacity planning, and overall optimal system performance as the facility scales.

This role will operate full-time on-site at the new facility, including working out of construction trailers until the office is open in about 12 months. This is a full-time role, and we can offer a salary between $130k and $150k plus bonuses and a generous benefits package. Exact compensation may vary based on education and experience.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 3 years designing and operating process utility systems in a semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environment.
Experienced with the design, operation and commissioning of the following systems in a clean room environment:
Chilled water systems (chillers), cooling towers, steam systems, boilers, CDA - compressed dry air, process vacuum systems, PCW, PVAC and N2 (high purity nitrogen)
Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office and Bluebeam for design reviews and project planning.
