The Director of Federal Programs is responsible for overseeing and managing federal education grant programs within an educational institution or district. This role involves ensuring compliance with federal regulations, developing and implementing program strategies, and coordinating resources to enhance educational opportunities for students. The director will work closely with various stakeholders, including school administrators, teachers, and community partners, to effectively allocate funds and support initiatives that align with federal guidelines and improve student outcomes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Lead and manage federal education programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
-Develop and oversee budgets, ensuring responsible allocation of federal funds and fiscal accountability.
-Collaborate with stakeholders (school staff, community partners, federal agencies) to identify needs and implement effective programs.
-Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
-Support grant activities, including application preparation, staff training, and maintaining compliance with reporting requirements.

Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Federal Program Expertise: Deep knowledge of federal education laws, grant compliance, and reporting standards.
Financial & Analytical Skills: Skilled in budget management, data analysis, and using insights to improve program outcomes.
Communication & Grant Writing: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in grant writing and reporting.
Masters degree (required), Doctorate preferred
5+ years in education/program management
Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card
Relevant certifications a plus (Grant Professionals Certified, GPC)
