Job Description

seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support one of our largest and most strategic consulting engagements. This role will be fully dedicated to the program and will serve as a critical link between recruiting, consultant engagement, project leadership, operations, onboarding, and client stakeholders.

The Project Coordinator will help drive workforce mobilization, hiring operations, consultant engagement, project execution, reporting, and ongoing workforce support for a large-scale manufacturing and data center operations program. This individual will serve as a key liaison between client leadership, and the consultant population, helping ensure an exceptional consultant experience from onboarding through assignment completion.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy solving problems, managing competing priorities, building relationships, and operating in fast-paced environments where project timelines, hiring demands, and operational priorities evolve quickly.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Program Support

Coordinate activities across recruiting, onboarding, operations, project leadership, and client stakeholders.

Track project milestones, action items, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Maintain project documentation, reporting dashboards, status updates, and project trackers.

Facilitate follow-up on deliverables and ensure accountability across multiple workstreams.

Assist with scheduling meetings, documenting decisions, and maintaining project records.

Escalate risks and blockers appropriately while helping drive mitigation plans.

Support workforce mobilization, onboarding readiness, and consultant allocation activities.

Partner with leadership to ensure project deliverables, staffing plans, and operational milestones remain on track.

Consultant Engagement & Workforce Support

Serve as a primary point of contact for consultants throughout their assignment lifecycle.

Conduct regular consultant check-ins to assess engagement, performance, satisfaction, and support needs.

Facilitate onboarding activities and ensure consultants are set up for success from day one.

Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants while serving as a trusted resource and advocate.

Partner with project leadership and recruiting teams to proactively identify and resolve consultant concerns.

Support performance management conversations, consultant coaching, and development initiatives.

Troubleshoot assignment-related issues and connect consultants with appropriate internal resources.

Monitor consultant sentiment and escalate retention risks or performance concerns when necessary.

Support workforce communication initiatives, project updates, recognition efforts, engagement activities, and consultant touchpoints.

Help foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing consultant experience aligned with company culture and service standards.

Act as a visible representative of on-site and help strengthen consultant engagement, retention, and overall assignment success.

Recruiting & Candidate Operations

Conduct candidate interviews and evaluate candidate qualifications against program requirements.

Perform technical and functional screening interviews using structured interview guides and qualification criteria.

Partner with recruiters and delivery teams to assess candidate readiness and fit.

Document interview feedback and hiring recommendations.

Assist with workforce ramp planning, candidate pipeline tracking, and hiring operations support.

Help ensure candidate quality and consistency throughout the screening and hiring process.

Reporting & Project Controls

Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), action item trackers, and project schedules.

Support preparation of executive summaries, staffing updates, workforce reports, and program dashboards.

Monitor project metrics and communicate status updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Track onboarding progress, hiring metrics, workforce readiness, consultant engagement trends, and operational milestones.

Ensure project documentation remains accurate, current, and accessible.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with client stakeholders, operations leaders, recruiting teams, vendors, consultants, and consulting leadership.

Communicate proactively and professionally across multiple functions and levels of the organization.

Help align competing priorities and ensure critical information reaches the appropriate stakeholders.

Build strong relationships and drive execution through influence rather than authority.

Serve as a liaison between leadership, and the consultant workforce to ensure a consistent and positive experience.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in project coordination, recruiting operations, consultant engagement, workforce management, program support, client services, or a related field.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working effectively in environments with changing priorities and ambiguity.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to build trust and establish credibility with consultants and stakeholders.

Comfortable conducting candidate interviews, consultant check-ins, performance conversations, and issue resolution discussions.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Must reside within the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting large-scale hiring initiatives, workforce ramp-ups, manufacturing operations, construction projects, data center programs, or consulting engagements.

Experience managing consultant or employee engagement activities.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and project controls.

Experience using Microsoft Project, Airtable, Miscrosoft Dynamics, Nectar, or similar platforms.

Experience conducting structured behavioral or technical candidate interviews.

Understanding of project scheduling, dependencies, risk management, reporting, and workforce operations.
