Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join a growing team in Phoenix, AZ. A Mechanical Designer is responsible for Design and model complex MEP mechanical systems for semiconductor facilities, including HVAC, exhaust, and cleanroom environments, using Revit and AutoCAD. Perform detailed load calculations, airflow analysis, and equipment sizing to support mission-critical fab operations and strict contamination control requirements. Coordinate daily with process, electrical, and structural teams to ensure precise integration of tool install, process piping, and facility systems within tight construction constraints. Conduct field walks and drawing reviews to validate constructability, support fast-paced build schedules, and ensure designs meet semiconductor industry standards and codes. This can pay between 80-120K+ based on an evaluation of relevant YOE and education level.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
3+ Years of Experience supporting MEP scope for Semiconductor Industry
AutoCAD 2D/3D
Past experience with full end to end ownership of engineering designs
