Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Infrastructure Capacity & Demand Planning Program Manager for a top financial services client. This individual will act as the bridge between operations, engineering, onboarding teams, and internal business stakeholders to manage infrastructure demand and capacity planning initiatives. The role is heavily focused on intake management, forecasting, prioritization, stakeholder communication, and strategic planning rather than hands-on engineering work.
The ideal candidate will have a strong infrastructure, database, cloud, or systems background and have transitioned into a more customer-facing leadership role. This person will oversee capacity planning efforts across database services and rapidly growing AI environments, including GPU demand forecasting and resource allocation. Success in this role requires the ability to balance technical understanding with strong program management, reporting, communication, and organizational skills while operating independently in a fast-paced and evolving technology environment.
• Serve as the central point of coordination between operations, engineering, onboarding, and business stakeholders
• Manage intake requests for infrastructure, database, and AI-related services
• Validate and right-size capacity requests before implementation
• Support database demand planning, forecasting, and utilization analysis
• Assist with GPU demand planning and AI infrastructure intake processes
• Analyze infrastructure consumption trends and capacity requirements
• Create and maintain reports related to utilization, forecasting, and resource allocation
• Utilize Excel and Tableau to provide operational and capacity insights
• Support onboarding and deployment planning for new infrastructure services
• Coordinate planning activities associated with database consolidation and growth initiatives
• Communicate priorities, timelines, and recommendations to internal clients and stakeholders
• Drive process improvements around capacity planning and reporting functions
