Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to support a large construction company on a variety of HR and enterprise system initiatives. This is an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension, based onsite 5 days per week in Edmonton, Alberta.
The Business Analyst will partner closely with HR stakeholders, business teams, and technical resources to gather and document requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, support testing activities, and drive stakeholder alignment throughout project delivery. The ideal candidate has experience supporting HR systems and processes, strong communication skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications or business transformation initiatives
• 2-3 years of experience supporting HR processes, systems, or transformation initiatives
• Experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, or similar systems
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Snowflake
• Experience supporting testing activities, including UAT and test script creation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• SAP Certifications
• CPHR designation
