Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Satellite and Microwave Construction Manager III to support our telecommunications client with advanced satellite and microwave infrastructure projects across Alaska. This is a senior-level role requiring the ability to manage large-scale, technically complex construction initiatives under tight deadlines and operating constraints. The Construction Manager III will lead projects involving point-to-point microwave systems, satellite facilities, and monitor & control integrations, working closely with NOC and TAC teams to ensure operational readiness. This individual will provide technical leadership, guide junior team members, and oversee contractors while driving projects to successful, on-time, and on-budget completion. The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments, brings deep telecom construction expertise, and is comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level.

Essential Duties

Serve as the Construction Manager for advanced satellite and microwave infrastructure projects

Lead construction efforts for point-to-point microwave systems, satellite facilities, and related telecom infrastructure

Coordinate closely with NOC and TAC teams to support monitor & control integration, testing, and troubleshooting

Develop and execute project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource strategies

Manage external contractors and consultants to ensure quality, safety, and compliance

Creating of Scopes of Work (SOWs) and material planning

Maintain thorough project documentation and reporting

Required Skills & Experience

8–10 years of Construction Management experience

4+ years of hands-on experience supporting satellite and microwave construction projects

Familiarity with Monitor & Control environments, including interaction with NOC and/or TAC teams

Experience developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and forecasts

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Telecommunications, or related field

Experience supporting LEO satellite deployments (Starlink or similar)

Construction Management (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications

NCTI Course – “Project Management”
