Job Description
The CoMET Manager role will involve overseeing a team of testing & inspection (T&I) personnel, managing individual projects, and collaborating with clients to deliver our CoMET services. The successful candidate will be responsible for bidding projects, ensuring that high-quality service is rendered, mentoring staff to enhance their skills and opportunities and review CoMET reporting & billing, etc. In addition, the role will also support marketing efforts and contribute to the growth and expansion of NGE-TFT’s services.

Required Skills & Experience
· 10 years of geotechnical and/or CoMET project management experience.
· 5 years of supervisory experience including managing professional and technical staff.
· 5 years of profit and loss management experience.
· Experience with laboratory accreditation (e.g. AASHTO resource, etc.)
· Excellent written and communication skills
· Strong knowledge of construction materials
· Proficient in Microsoft environment
· Valid Alaska Driver License with clear record (or ability to get license upon arrival in Alaska)
· Ability to work legally in the U.S.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with 6 years of experience, or a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with 4 years of experience; and/or
· NICET Engineering Technologist (CT) certification, or Professional Engineering license in Alaska (or ability to obtain within one year of hire).
