Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a C-UAS Liaison Officer (LNO) serves as the primary representative for the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIATF) at the National C-UAS Validation Test Center in Huntsville, AL. On a daily basis, this individual works directly with government agencies, military organizations, and industry partners to coordinate and support Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) testing, validation, and technology development efforts.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating test events, facilitating communication between stakeholders, tracking test schedules and resources, and ensuring all participants are aligned throughout the testing lifecycle. The LNO regularly interfaces with organizations such as the FBI, PEO Fires, and other DoD entities to support test execution, collect data, and assess system performance.

Throughout testing activities, the LNO observes demonstrations and validation events, evaluates technical and operational results, and documents system effectiveness, interoperability, reliability, and mission suitability. They analyze test data, identify strengths and gaps in emerging technologies, and develop reports and executive-level briefings for senior military and government leadership.

The role also requires frequent engagement with commercial vendors and industry partners to support technology integration, readiness reviews, and capability assessments. The LNO represents JIATF during technical meetings, working groups, demonstrations, and stakeholder engagements across the Huntsville defense community.

In addition, the LNO maintains awareness of emerging Counter-UAS technologies, ongoing research and development initiatives, and evolving operational requirements. They provide recommendations to improve testing processes, support technology transition efforts, and ensure validated capabilities and lessons learned are communicated to decision-makers and operational users.

Success in this role requires strong coordination skills, an understanding of technology development and test and evaluation processes, and the ability to translate complex technical information into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
