Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 4-5 junior engineers while providing mechanical engineering support across a variety of federal programs. The role will include both hands-on mechanical engineering work and the performance of engineering analyses. We are seeking someone with 8-10 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience and 4-5 years of leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience
-8-10 years of hands on mechanical engineering experience
-Ideally 5 years in a leadership role
-FEA ANSYS for analysis experience
-AutoCAD 2D & 3D experience
-Creo or Solidworks
-DoD experience and has an understanding of MIL Standards
-Ability to obtain a US Clearance
