Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced compensation professional to join its Total Rewards team. This individual will serve as the primary compensation subject matter expert in Canada, partnering closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to provide market analysis, compensation recommendations, job evaluations, and support for ongoing compensation programs and job architecture initiatives. The role requires a strong balance of analytical expertise, financial modelling, and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct job evaluations and align positions to compensation structures and pay bands.
Provide compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, and off-cycle salary adjustments.
Benchmark roles and employees against market compensation data.
Participate in compensation surveys and leverage market data from providers such as Mercer, WTW, and GIHRG.
Support compensation program design, incentive plan analysis, and salary structure initiatives.
Build financial models and perform cost-impact and scenario analyses.
Partner with Talent Acquisition on offer development and pay transparency requirements.
Advise HR and business leaders on compensation-related issues and recommendations.
Support ongoing job architecture and compensation framework projects.
Prepare and present compensation insights to stakeholders and leadership teams

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of compensation or total rewards experience.
- Strong expertise in compensation program design, incentive design, compensation theory, and compensation practices.
- Experience conducting job evaluations, market pricing, and compensation benchmarking.
- Advanced Excel skills with proven financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to interpret complex compensation data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Experience working with compensation surveys and market data providers.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work directly with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience within insurance, financial services, or large enterprise environments is preferred.
Power BI experience is considered an asset.
CCP designation or progress toward CCP is considered an asset.
