Job Description

Role Overview
This role is seeking an ambitious technician to support infrastructure and workplace EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) functions. It offers strong opportunities for growth in both technical and professional skillsets.
The position leverages human and organizational principles to drive ownership of safety, health, and environmental performance, with a focus on engagement, learning from incidents, and systems-level problem solving.
The candidate will develop, implement, and continuously improve programs within an EHS Management System framework, in partnership with broader EHS and operations teams. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as alignment with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as a key stakeholder in Management of Change processes to ensure operational and facility changes improve controls related to health, safety, and environmental risks
• Partner with cross-functional EHS teams (Industrial Hygiene, Construction Safety, Hazardous Waste, Environmental, Ergonomics, etc.) to support manufacturing operations
• Analyze incident trends and apply risk assessment methods to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that reduce injuries, illnesses, and environmental impact
• Facilitate incident investigations using a Learning Teams approach, ensuring root causes are addressed at a systems level rather than focusing solely on individual behavior
• Support field operations by participating in pre-job planning and verifying safety controls prior to work execution
• Ensure EHS Management System elements are consistently applied across operations; develop procedures, inspections, training programs, and reports as needed
• Monitor and support EHS KPI performance within assigned areas
• Establish and lead safety committees in collaboration with production teams
