Job Description
Siemens is seeking 2 Software Engineers - ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment and brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to lead and mentor others. This role requires deep hands-on experience with event-driven, service-based, and cloud-native architectures, using Java and JavaFX on the backend, Angular on the frontend, and tools such as JUnit, Mockito, AMQP, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. The engineer should be comfortable debugging, testing, documenting software, estimating development effort, and working with complex topics like multithreading and asynchronous inter-process communication. Additional value comes from experience with industrial control systems, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Python, the railroad domain, and compliance with CENELEC standards such as EN 50128 and EN 50129.

Required Skills & Experience
· Proven experience in Agile software development with strong skills in troubleshooting, testing, documentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional team collaboration.
· Core experience with up-to-date Java & Angular
· Experience with Kubernetes and Docker applications, including container orchestration, application scaling, monitoring, and production environment support.
· Experience owning full lifecycle who can develop, test, and deploy independently.
· Experienced problem solver & root cause thinking
· Experience in mission critical environments in rail, finance, logistics, transportation, and/or industrial/manufacturing
· Deep understanding of complex software topics such as multithreading, concurrency, coding reliability, production readiness and asynchronous inter-process communication
