We are looking to identify a Senior AI / GenAI Engineer to support the Data & AI Marketplace Delivery team at a top Utility company. This role will focus on designing and scaling enterprise-grade AI systems and intelligent agents, with a strong emphasis on secure, governed deployments in a regulated environment.
This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how AI is operationalized across the organization—moving beyond pilots into production-grade, business-critical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build enterprise AI agents leveraging internal data and workflows
Develop GenAI-powered search, discovery, and insight platforms (RAG-based)
Architect and deploy decision-support systems for business and executive users
Implement secure, scalable AI solutions aligned to governance and compliance standards
Drive end-to-end delivery from concept → production → scale
Support operationalization of AI with measurable business outcomes

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years in AI / Machine Learning / Generative AI engineering
Strong experience delivering production-grade AI solutions end-to-end
Deep expertise in Azure AI ecosystem (Azure OpenAI, AI Search, ML, etc.)
Experience with enterprise data platforms (Snowflake preferred)
Strong Python development and API experience (FastAPI or similar)
Hands-on experience with cloud-native, distributed architectures (AKS, Kubernetes)
enerative AI / LLMs
Experience building applications using GPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.
Strong experience with RAG architectures (vector search, embeddings, grounding)
LLM fine-tuning and optimization for enterprise use cases
Experience with frameworks like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Azure OpenAI
Building multi-agent systems, tool/function calling, and workflow orchestration
