Job Description
An employer is looking for an Associate level Network and Infrastructure Engineer in the Huntsville, AL area. Oversee the maintenance and security of company intranets and computer systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. Set up and maintain user access, including permissions and security protocols. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues promptly to minimize downtime. Work with other IT staff and departments to identify and implement new technologies that enhance system performance and user experience

Required Skills & Experience
Active Secret Clearance
Security+ or higher 8140 certification
Experience with Systems Administration for Windows or Linux Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with various windows and Red Hat scripting using tools such as Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
Experience with DevOps architecture such as Kubernetes, Nexus, Docker, GitLab, etc.
Experience with security compliance and related security scanning products (ACAS)
Experience in enterprise backup and restore solutions, storage area network (SAN), and network attached storage (NAS)
Experience with hardware installation and maintenance to include firmware upgrades
