Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Contracts team during contract award to fully understand the scope of work and program requirements.
Develop and maintain earned value management (EVM) reporting processes to support program performance tracking.
Create and manage production schedules for complex aerospace programs, ensuring alignment between manufacturing capacity and delivery timelines.
Support proposal and bidding efforts by developing accurate cost estimates and resource plans.
Monitor planned versus actual costs, identify variances, and provide forecasting for labor, materials, and equipment needs.
Proactively identify schedule risks, bottlenecks, and resource constraints, and develop mitigation strategies to maintain on-time delivery.
Collaborate with Project Engineers and production leadership to establish and maintain project schedules with defined milestones, adjusting budgets and timelines as contractual requirements evolve.
Assist with workforce planning by supporting staffing forecasts and resource allocation based on project needs and required skill sets.
Provide regular program health and performance reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
Track project expenditures, materials, subcontractor performance, and other cost-related metrics as required by management or contractual obligations.
Ensure contract deliverables and technical requirements are being met, escalating concerns and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
Support Program Business Analysts and cross-functional teams with project planning and execution activities.
Manage resources and coordinate project-related activities to ensure successful program execution.
Demonstrate strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt schedules and re-baseline projects when priorities or requirements change.
Pay Range: $90-160k

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Active Secret Clearence or higher required
• 6+ years of relevant experience managing complex manufacturing projects from start to finish and within cost and schedule, in an aerospace adjacent industry
• Proven experience in MS project scheduling, updating, and analyzing complex project schedules
• Strong experience presenting data analysis and communicating effectively to customers and management both internally and externally
• Earned Value Management and reporting experience
• Microsoft office suite
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Advanced MS Project skills, including resource leveling, critical path analysis, and schedule risk management
• Knowledge of scheduling best practices in aerospace or defense programs.
• Experience overseeing an entire Aircraft build process, and understanding of how to complete the project within cost and schedule
• Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance.
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Strong analytical problem solving skills and ability to implement sound critical thinking skills
• Experience working in a SAP (Special Access Program) environment
• ERP experience - Cost Point
