Job Description
Our client, a large insurance organization, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join its growing Enterprise AI team. This individual will partner closely with the organization’s Lead AI Engineer and Product Engineering teams to design, build, and productionize AI-powered applications that improve internal engineering workflows and accelerate AI adoption across the enterprise. Working within an AI incubation team, this person will develop LLM-powered applications, agentic AI workflows, and reusable AI components while helping identify new AI use cases, evaluate emerging technologies, and establish engineering best practices. This is a highly hands-on engineering role where you’ll collaborate across Product Engineering, contribute to the organization’s AI roadmap, and transfer knowledge to internal engineering teams as Enterprise AI capabilities continue to expand.

Required Skills & Experience
• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building scalable enterprise applications
• 2+ years designing and developing production AI/LLM applications, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI-powered workflows
• Hands-on experience with AWS and AI services, including Amazon Bedrock or similar cloud-based GenAI platforms
• Experience building agentic AI solutions, multi-agent systems, or AI orchestration frameworks for real-world business applications
• Experience integrating AI applications with enterprise systems, APIs, and modern engineering workflows
• Excellent communication skills with fluent English and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, mentor engineers, and effectively transfer knowledge
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience developing AI applications using Python
• Experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, AWS Strands SDK, Claude Agent SDK, Model Context Protocol (MCP), or similar AI orchestration frameworks
• Experience building AI evaluation frameworks, LLM testing strategies, prompt evaluation, or model validation processes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation), Docker/Kubernetes, LLMOps/MLOps, or AWS AI/Machine Learning certifications
