Job Description
• Monitor systems to make sure texting/messaging services are working
• Troubleshoot outages, message delays, or failures
• Perform root cause analysis (figure out why issues happened)
• Work tickets and resolve customer-impacting issues
• Apply patches, upgrades, and system fixes
• Support on-call rotation
• Work with vendors and internal network teams to fix issues
• Document processes and create runbooks

Required Skills & Experience
• ~ 5+ years in telecom, wireless, or messaging platforms
• Experience in carrier-grade / production environments
• Hands-on experience supporting live network systems
• Experience supporting SMS/MMS platforms (SMSC, MMSC)
• Strong troubleshooting in live telecom/network environments
• Experience with 4G/LTE core (MME, HSS, EPC basics)
• Knowledge of network protocols (Diameter, SMPP, SIP, SS7)
• Hands-on Linux experience (logs, troubleshooting, basic scripting)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with IMS / VoLTE / SMS over IP
• Experience with 5G messaging or RCS
• Cloud or virtualization (AWS, Azure, VMware, Kubernetes)
• SMS firewall / roaming / A2P messaging experience
• Automation (Python, Ansible, Git)
• Experience with vendors like: Ericsson, Nokia, Mavenir, Huawei, Syniverse, Openwave, etc.
