Job Description
The Budget & Operations Coordinator supports the Hyundai Design Center America (HDC) by managing day‑to‑day budget tracking, SAP transactions, financial documentation, and operational workflows. This role ensures accurate, real‑time visibility into expenditures, assists with monthly reporting and variance analysis, and maintains organized financial and procurement records.
You will collaborate closely with Finance, Purchasing, and cross‑functional teams to resolve budget or payment issues, support planning and forecasting activities, and help improve internal processes related to budget control and reporting efficiency. The role also includes operational support such as event coordination, asset management, and administrative assistance for the design studio.
Given the fast‑paced, high‑volume nature of a design environment, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, solutions‑oriented mindset are essential.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
1–5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance Operations, Purchasing, or Administrative roles
Hands‑on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (budget tracking, financial transactions, reporting)
Working knowledge of procurement processes (PR/PO creation, invoice processing, payment tracking)
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Strong Excel skills (formulas, reconciliation, pivot tables)
Ability to track budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain accurate financial records
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and validate financial data
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and transaction processing
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining organized, compliant records
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with a focus on process improvement
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting budget planning, forecasting, or annual planning cycles
Familiarity with investment consultation processes (product, technology, fixed assets, committee prep)
Experience with monthly/quarterly differential analysis or financial reporting
Prior work in a design studio, creative environment, or high‑volume operational setting
Experience coordinating internal events, workshops, or VIP visits
Background in asset management, shipping/receiving, or vehicle logistics
Experience supporting leadership with administrative and operational tasks
