Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a full stack application developer focused on applications used in the Manufacturing Execution and Quality Control space. The person will build, enhance, test, deploy, and support applications that help manufacturing sites run smoothly. They need to be technical enough to develop in PL/SQL and Oracle APEX, but also comfortable working with business users, analysts, project teams, and end users.
The role is not just “heads-down coding.” This person will need to understand manufacturing workflows, translate system requirements into technical specs, develop and test applications, document solutions.

Hourly: $55-$65hr

Required Skills & Experience

4–6+ years of software/application development experience.
Strong experience with PL/SQL.
Strong experience with Oracle APEX.
Experience with SDLC, testing, debugging, and deployment.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, or similar development tools.
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ideally, experience building applications in a manufacturing environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Building and enhancing manufacturing/quality applications.
Writing code primarily using PL/SQL and Oracle APEX.
Translating requirements into technical specifications.
Testing, debugging, integrating, and deploying software.
Creating documentation for installs, support, and maintenance.
Partnering with users, developers, BAs, and PMs.
