Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to support an enterprise-wide migration of file shares from on-premises to SharePoint Online. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and administering a scalable SharePoint Online environment that enables secure, efficient document management and collaboration across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in SharePoint Online and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem, with proven experience driving migration efforts, modernizing legacy environments, and establishing governance frameworks. This individual will play a key role in accelerating migration timelines, rationalizing legacy SharePoint sites, and defining information architecture and document management strategies, including permissions, metadata, and compliance features such as sensitivity labels and IRM. Success in this role requires a hands-on, strategic thinker who can partner with cross-functional teams, guide stakeholders through migration and adoption, and build sustainable processes and documentation to support long-term platform growth and governance.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience, ideally with hands-on involvement in file share to SharePoint migrations
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online
- Strong knowledge of access management, including Entra ID, security policies, and access controls
- Experience working within enterprise document management and governance frameworks
