Job Description

A midstream energy services provider is seeking a Right of Way Due Diligence Agent to join their team at their Beltway office in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate must have a background in land or due diligence and able to interpret land documents such as easements, title, and alignment sheets. Daily responsibilities include, reviewing alignments sheets and any provisions, ensuring there are no gaps in the alignments sheets, and using Google Earth or other database systems to confirm accuracy in all legal documents. This individual will work in an office setting on site five days per week.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of experience reviewing, interpreting of provisions in easements

Able to read and interpret alignment sheets

Basic data entry skills

Must have background in land or reviewing land documents/contracts

Basic understanding of title and provisions

Understanding of pipelines

Able to understand spatial data and able to read a map

Able to read metes and bounds

Able to follow linear assets and linear surface

HS Diploma

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with GIS or Google Earth

Midstream industry experience
