Job Description

Insight Global is looking to add a Data/Power BI Engineer to join their client's Data & Analytics organization. This person will play a key role in a large-scale data modernization initiative, beginning with the migration of legacy brewing and packaging supply chain data from a MicroSQL environment into a new BrewDat Lakehouse platform. They will be responsible for building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines, supporting ETL processes, and leveraging GitHub for CI/CD and version control. They should be comfortable reading and troubleshooting Python code, querying and validating data across source and target systems, and investigating data discrepancies to ensure successful migration outcomes. A significant portion of the role will focus on migrating existing Power BI datasets, reports, and models to the new Lakehouse architecture while performing quality control testing to ensure reporting accuracy and performance. As the migration progresses, they will transition into new development efforts, including designing and building Bronze, Silver, and Gold medallion data layers to support analytics and reporting across brewing and packaging operations.
