Job Description
Insight Global is looking for multiple Sr. Software Developers to join one of the largest HCM Companies in Canada. This role will be supporting a services transformation initiative for the company's core products and modules. Previous experience working with React, C#, .Net, microservices, and Azure Cloud is essential to succeed in this role. This role is fully remote based in Canada working EST hours.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5-7+ years of strong hands on full-stack engineering experience across both backend and frontend development using C#, .NET, TypeScript, and React
• Proven experience building systems, services, and APIs at scale, including working with distributed systems, complex domains, or large datasets
• Experience using AI assisted development tools such as github copilot, codex, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to drive measurable outcomes (e.g., performance improvements, cost savings, user growth) and strong product mindset with focus on business impact and “what changed because I built it”
• Strong experience designing and implementing Rest APIs and microservices from scratch
• Strong experience with SQL Server DB and cloud environments (azure preferred)
• Experience owning work end-to-end (design → development → delivery → impact) with clear accountability
• Ability to articulate technical complexity, tradeoffs, and decision-making in past work
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and contributions
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve engineering productivity (e.g., test automation, faster time-to-production, increased coverage) with measurable outcomes
• Experience applying AI across teams or building AI-assisted engineering workflows
• Domain experience in HCM, Workforce Management (WFM), Payroll, or Benefits platforms
