Job Description
We are seeking a Business Data Analyst with strong Guidewire and insurance domain expertise to support a high-priority reporting backlog. This role blends business analysis and technical data skills, requiring hands-on work with data, stakeholder engagement, and report delivery.
Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements
• Analyze and interpret Guidewire data (BillingCenter, PolicyCenter, DataHub)
• Write and execute SQL queries to support reporting needs
• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions
• Identify gaps between requested outputs and available data structures
• Develop and deliver reports for Finance and Actuarial teams
• Document requirements and communicate with developers
• Support data transformation and system migration initiatives (InfoCenter → Fabric)
The hourly pay rate for this position is $50-63/hr and based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
• Senior Data Analyst experience in complex data environments
• Strong SQL skills (writing queries, analyzing multi-system data)
• Property & Casualty insurance experience
• Hands-on experience with:
• Guidewire BillingCenter
• Guidewire DataHub (data flow, extraction, integrations)
• Ability to:
• Work independently with minimal oversight
• Gather + challenge business requirements
• Translate business needs into data/reporting solutions
• Strong communication skills (business-facing)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Guidewire PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter
• Microsoft Fabric (future-state platform)
• Power BI
• Experience with:
o Reporting modernization / data warehouse environments
o InfoCenter/Cognos
o Finance or actuarial stakeholders
