Job Description
This role sits at the intersection of telecom expense oversight and analytics. The focus is not on day-to-day telecom operations or pure data analysis, but on proactively identifying gaps in telecom billing and services while also delivering meaningful reporting that demonstrates business impact and ROI.
You’ll partner across telecom, finance, and IT teams to ensure vendor accountability, improve cost visibility, and measure the effectiveness of technology changes.
This role is responsible for proactively reviewing telecom billing, services, and usage across the enterprise to identify discrepancies, gaps, and potential risks, ensuring vendors are billing accurately and consistently across all locations. The individual will validate that service inventory aligns with what is being billed, flagging issues such as missed charges, over- or under-provisioned services, and unexpected cost spikes to prevent financial exposure. In parallel, this role will build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau to track performance trends and measure the impact of system or infrastructure changes, including before-and-after comparisons to demonstrate ROI. The position partners closely with telecom, finance, and IT teams, acting as a bridge between technical services and financial outcomes to improve visibility, strengthen vendor accountability, and support data-driven decision-making.
