Job Description
A client in the Pacific Northwest is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team. This position is direct hire three days onsite and two days remote. In this role, we are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of the Fortinet stack as well as a strong understanding of Cisco and Cisco Meraki. We are looking for someone with strong experience working with Firewalls, specifically with Fortigate.
In this role, you will be working on the on-prem physical network ecosystem, including configurations, maintenance, and zero-trust projects. There will be a component of architecture and design, along with day-to-day support. You will partner with another Network Engineer and collaborate on several firewall projects. Required Skills & Experience
3-6+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar
3+ years of experience with Fortinet: Fortimanager, fortigate, forticloud, forticare, forticonverter, Fortinac, fortiweb (waf)
Experience with Cisco blades and nexus switches, Cisco Meraki Experience: switches, Cisco CLI
3+ years of experience with Network Segmentation, Firewalls, Network access control (NAC), Zero Trust Networking Access
Enterprise level experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Azure Cloud Networking Experience
FortiAnalyzer, fortiextender, fortisase
Cisco CLI experience
