Overview
Our client, a leading retail and e-commerce organization, is seeking a Senior Analyst, Digital Marketing Analytics to join their growing analytics team. This role sits at the intersection of digital marketing, media measurement, advanced analytics, and data infrastructure, helping stakeholders make smarter business decisions through data-driven insights.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical capabilities with business acumen and curiosity. They are comfortable working with large datasets, maintaining analytics infrastructure, evaluating campaign performance, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
• Analyze digital marketing and media performance to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
• Evaluate campaign effectiveness across channels including paid search, paid social, display, video, programmatic, email, affiliate, and owned digital properties.
• Partner with marketing, e-commerce, merchandising, and analytics teams to understand business objectives and develop measurement strategies.
• Design and maintain reporting dashboards and visualizations to support ongoing business decision-making.
• Source, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple platforms and data sources.
• Develop actionable insights and recommendations related to audience targeting, budget allocation, creative performance, channel mix, and campaign timing.
• Support testing and experimentation initiatives, including A/B testing, holdout testing, audience testing, and incrementality analysis.
• Contribute to measurement frameworks, reporting standards, anomaly detection, and analytics best practices.
• Maintain and optimize analytics infrastructure, including dashboards, data integrations, automated reporting processes, and data pipelines.
• Respond to ad hoc reporting and analytical requests from stakeholders across the business.
• Communicate complex analytical findings through clear presentations, dashboards, and executive-ready recommendations.
• Continuously identify improvements, efficiencies, and opportunities that create business value.

Required Skills & Experience
• 4+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics, business intelligence, database marketing, or a related analytics function.
• Strong SQL skills with experience extracting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
• Ability to analyze digital marketing performance and translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience working with multiple data sources, data mapping, data integration, and data quality validation.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and KPIs, including impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA, conversion rate, ROAS, and revenue.
Soft Skills & Communication
• Experience presenting insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across marketing, e-commerce, merchandising, and analytics teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-starter mindset.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting a retail, e-commerce, consumer-facing, or digital media environment.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Azure, or other cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Working knowledge of BigQuery or similar enterprise data warehouse technologies.
• Experience with Python, R, or other statistical programming languages.
• Experience with data migration, data integration, and analytics infrastructure maintenance.
• Familiarity with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, DV360, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or other web analytics tools.
• Exposure to A/B testing, incrementality testing, attribution modelling, media mix modelling, or other marketing measurement methodologies.
• Professional certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, cloud platforms, or related technologies.
