Job Description

Short Summary of the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Enterprise Analyst with deep expertise in Workday Compensation, Talent, and Performance modules. This role serves as a strategic partner to HR and business stakeholders, driving the optimization, configuration, and continuous improvement of Workday systems. The ideal candidate combines strong functional HR systems knowledge with technical Workday expertise to deliver scalable solutions, enhance business processes, and support enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Compensation, Talent, and Performance modules
Configure and manage Workday Talent & Performance processes, including performance reviews, talent reviews, succession planning, and career development
Lead annual compensation cycles (Merit, Bonus, mid-year, and annual reviews)
Partner with HR, Compensation, Benefits, and IT teams to align system capabilities with business needs
Gather and translate business requirements into system configurations and technical solutions
Conduct business process analysis, gap assessments, and identify opportunities for automation and optimization
Manage Workday configurations including tenant setup, EIBs, sandbox testing, and system standards
Support system implementations, upgrades, releases, and enhancements
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while managing SLAs as a primary escalation point
Build reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and advanced reporting tools
Drive roadmap planning, contributing to a 3-year business and technology strategy
Collaborate with PMO and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope
Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and adherence to HRIS best practices
Present insights, recommendations, and solutions to leadership and stakeholders
Stay current on Workday releases, trends, and best practices to drive innovation

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
12–15+ years of experience in Business Analysis / BRM roles supporting SaaS/cloud systems
Extensive hands-on experience with Workday Compensation, Talent, and Performance modules
Proven experience with Workday Advanced Compensation cycles (Merit, Bonus, Reviews)
Strong technical expertise in Workday configuration, business processes, security, and reporting
Experience with Workday Report Writer and advanced analytics/reporting
Strong understanding of HRIS systems (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, etc.)
Experience with system implementation, upgrades, and data migration
Knowledge of integrations, workflows, and underlying data structures
Experience writing business requirements, design documentation, and test cases
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience serving as escalation point for production support and SLA management

Experience working in highly matrixed or enterprise environments
