Job Description

The Lead will serve as the primary on-site technical owner for their hospital locations and is responsible for coordinating deployment activities, guiding technicians, managing workflows, and ensuring quality execution from start to finish.

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining advanced technical deployment responsibilities with team oversight and on-the-ground problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:
-Serve as the primary deployment lead for assigned state (WA or OR), overseeing daily execution across deployment sites
-Perform and oversee end-to-end device deployment, including swaps, installs, and full replacement workflows
-Execute and validate device imaging and configuration (Windows 11 upgrades and Windows 10 for exception devices)
-Lead and support Level 1 technicians, ensuring adherence to process, productivity targets, and quality standards
-Act as the main escalation point for technical issues, resolving or coordinating with support teams as needed
-Conduct site readiness checks, identifying risks, blockers, or logistical challenges upfront
-Ensure quality control and device validation prior to end-user handoff
-Oversee asset tracking, inventory updates, and deployment reporting throughout the project lifecycle
-Maintain accurate documentation of deployment progress, issues, and resolutions
-Provide white-glove support and communication to end-users during device transitions
-Support peripheral setup and troubleshooting, including printers, scanners, and workstation hardware

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years’ experience as PC/computer technician or similar role
-2+ years of lead technician experience
-Experience working in a healthcare environment
-Experience with LAN/WAN networks troubleshooting
-Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
-Experience working in an enterprise IT environment
-Experience in remote PC troubleshooting
-Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
-Printer support experience
-Excellent troubleshooting skills
-Excellent communication abilities and customer service skills
-Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
-BSc/BA in Computer Science, engineering, relevant field, or commensurate experience
-Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+) will be an advantage
-Experience leading large-scale deployment or PC refresh programs
-Ability to manage technicians across multiple sites within a region/state
-Strong ability to work autonomously in travel-heavy environments with minimal oversight
