Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Kyriba Implementation Specialist to support the delivery of Kyriba solutions, with a strong focus on payments, payment factory capabilities, system connectivity, interface development, and bank integrations.
Duration: 10-11 months (Part-time, estimated 25+ hours/week, fluctuating based on project phase)
Location: Remote, working during US Central Time Zone business hours.
Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Kariba Connectivity and Payments Specialist to join our team for a new multi-instance Kariba implementation project focused on payment factory capabilities for a large insurance company. This individual will play a crucial role in leading design sessions, establishing connectivity, and ensuring the successful implementation of payment functionalities.
Certification Requirements:
Candidates must hold certifications in Kyriba Payments and Kyriba Connectivity. Individuals with inactive certifications will also be considered, provided they previously held both certifications and have at least 5+ years of experience having been certified in these 2 certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design sessions for establishing Kariba connectivity.
• Manage the establishment of connections with five key banking partners for reporting and payment purposes (likely API or host-to-host, not SWIFT).
• Oversee the integration of Kariba with various internal systems for sending and receiving payment data.
• Provide guidance and coaching to internal team members on Kariba connectivity.
• Lead unit testing for payments and conduct penny value testing.
• Ensure end-to-end connectivity and payment functionality.

Required Skills & Experience
5-10 years of direct Kariba experience, with a strong emphasis on payments and connectivity
Kariba Certifications: Specifically in Kariba Connectivity and Kariba Payments. Prior certification in Kariba Core Cash Management and Forecasting is also highly valued. (Expired or inactive certifications are acceptable if robust experience is demonstrated).
Proven experience in leading design sessions and implementing Kariba solutions.
Strong understanding of banking connectivity protocols (API, host-to-host).
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and coach team members.
