About the Role
We are seeking Egocentric Data Collectors to support the development of advanced robotics, wearable technology, and artificial intelligence systems.
In this role, you will wear specialized recording equipment, including smart glasses, wearable sensors, and mobile capture devices, to collect real-world data used to train next-generation AI and robotics models. You will perform a variety of everyday activities while following detailed collection protocols to ensure high-quality data capture.
This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable with technology, adaptable to changing procedures, and interested in contributing to cutting-edge AI research.
Responsibilities
- Operate wearable recording equipment and mobile capture devices
- Perform scripted daily activities while collecting first-person video and sensor data
- Follow detailed collection procedures and safety protocols
- Ensure data collection sessions meet quality and completeness standards
- Accurately document completed sessions and observations
- Troubleshoot and report equipment or -collection issues
- Provide feedback on collection workflows and procedures
- Adapt to evolving project requirements and collection methodologies
Activities may include:
- Meal preparation and cooking
- Household organization and cleaning
- Laundry-related tasks
- Gardening and outdoor activities
- Food preparation and plating
- Object handling and manipulation tasks
- General lifestyle and daily living activities

Required Skills & Experience
- Comfortable wearing recording equipment for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Comfortable performing light to moderate physical activity throughout the day
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly
- Reliable transportation to collection sites when required
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout collection sessions
- Ability to wear recording equipment for extended periods
- Ability to safely perform routine household and lifestyle activities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree is Robotics or related field
- Experience in research studies, data collection, field operations, testing environments, or operational support roles
- Experience following SOPs or structured workflows
- Familiarity with wearable devices, smartphones, cameras, or recording equipment
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
