Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Project Manager in Tampa, FL. This individual will oversee heavy civil and infrastructure construction projects from planning through completion. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, working with field superintendents, overseeing manpower allocation, handling change orders, reviewing takeoffs, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. This person will regularly interface with estimating teams, clients, and agencies such as FDOT while conducting job site visits as needed. The role requires balancing office and field responsibilities and may occasionally require weekend work based on project demands. This position operates within a typical 50-hour work week common to the construction industry

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager within heavy civil, roadway, highway, or infrastructure construction
Experience managing large-scale prime contractor projects valued at $30M-$40M+
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and project specifications
Experience coordinating subcontractors, project schedules, manpower, and change orders
Experience working with DOT projects, preferably FDOT

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Professional Engineer (PE) certification
Experience with takeoffs and project estimating
Experience managing EEO/compliance requirements on construction projects
Background working closely with field superintendents and government agencies
