Insight Global is seeking a Remote Claims Research Associate for a leading technology and insurance solutions client. This individual will conduct research and analyze vehicle market data to determine fair market valuations for potential total loss claims. The role is highly detail-oriented and research-driven, requiring candidates to work independently while maintaining strong productivity and quality standards. This is a non-sales position with limited phone interaction, offering an excellent opportunity for candidates with customer service, data entry, administrative, or research experience who enjoy analytical work in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives in a metrics-driven setting, and can manage a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy.
Day-to-Day:
Complete vehicle valuations for potential total loss claims
Research local vehicle markets across all 50 states
Utilize proprietary tools and databases to determine fair market value
Conduct occasional outbound calls to dealerships and adjusters
Process supporting documentation such as invoices and window stickers
Update vehicle information and verify comparable vehicles
Adhere to productivity, quality, attendance, and turnaround time metrics
Collaborate with claims professionals and dealerships nationwide
Maintain production and quality standards in a remote environment

Required Skills & Experience
Must-Haves:
1–2+ years of Customer Service and/or Data Entry experience
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong attention to detail and research skills
Ability to work at a high pace while maintaining accuracy
Reliable home office setup free from distractions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable making occasional outbound calls
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
Previous claims, insurance, automotive, or valuation experience
Experience working in a metrics-driven environment
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)
Experience conducting online research
