Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an HRIS Specialist to support one of our clients in optimizing and managing their Human Resources systems. This individual will serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS platform, ensuring data integrity, system functionality, and strong reporting capabilities across HR operations. This role sits at the intersection of HR, Talent Acquisition, and technology, with a focus on improving team effectiveness through better access to and utilization of HR data. This person will play a key role in enabling leadership visibility into key talent metrics by building scalable reporting solutions and dashboards.

Day to Day:
Serve as the primary administrator for HRIS platforms (Workday, UKG), ensuring system stability, performance, and ongoing maintenance
Manage and maintain HR data, ensuring accuracy across employee records, reporting outputs, and system integrity
Troubleshoot system issues and support day-to-day HRIS operations, responding to HR and Talent Acquisition needs
Partner with HR and Recruiting stakeholders to structure, analyze, and deliver data-driven insights
Design, build, and maintain dashboards tracking key metrics such as pipeline health, candidate flow, hiring performance, and overall workforce data
Translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions that support leadership decision-making and executive visibility
Develop and enhance reporting capabilities using tools such as Power BI and Tableau
Improve data accessibility by transitioning manual processes into automated, scalable reporting solutions
Support system integrations, enhancements, and upgrades across HR platforms and workflows
Train and enable HR and TA teams to effectively utilize dashboards, reporting tools, and self-service data resources

Compensation: $26/hr. to $31/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience supporting HRIS systems in a hands-on administrative capacity
Experience with HR platforms such as Workday, UKG, ADP, or similar
Strong experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development
Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting
Ability to troubleshoot HRIS and reporting issues independently
Experience partnering with business stakeholders to interpret HR data
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Workday (preferred) and/or UKG
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Background in HR analytics or talent analytics
Experience supporting executive-level reporting and metrics
Exposure to enterprise HR systems such as Oracle
Experience with integrations, APIs, or HR data pipelines
