Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Numerical Control Programmer 3 to support a large aerospace manufacturing program in San Antonio, TX. This individual will provide technical expertise in numerical control programming, machining, tooling, and manufacturing processes. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining Machine Control Data (MCD), creating and revising geometry, supporting CNC manufacturing operations, and ensuring producibility requirements are met for aerospace parts, tools, and assemblies.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Develop, verify, revise, and maintain Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and supporting documentation.

Program and support numerically controlled equipment used to manufacture and inspect aerospace parts, tooling, and assemblies.

Establish technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.

Create 3D models from 2D engineering drawings.

Support the integration of new machining techniques, manufacturing methods, software, and equipment.

Develop and maintain tooling documentation and manufacturing instructions.

Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.

Apply GD&T principles to interpret engineering requirements and support manufacturing execution.

Support aerospace tooling and fixture design activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with CATIA and/or ENOVIA

Experience with REDARS (Boeing internal system)

3+ years experience in NC/CNC programming and machining

Ability to create 3D models from 2D drawings

Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and applying GD&T

Aerospace manufacturing, tooling, fixture design, or machining experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

IVT experience

Experience working with PCM (Photo Contact Masters) and Mylars

Boeing manufacturing experience

Aerospace tooling design experience
