Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join a growing team and support end-to-end payroll operations for a high-volume workforce. This individual will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, auditing employee payroll data, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations. On a daily basis, they will review payroll transactions, process employee pay changes, reconcile payroll discrepancies, generate and analyze payroll reports, and partner with employees and leadership to resolve payroll-related questions.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume payroll environment. This person should possess advanced Excel skills, including the ability to utilize formulas, perform data validation, reconcile large datasets, and create payroll reports. They must also have experience managing payroll compliance requirements, including wage and hour regulations, tax withholdings, garnishments, audits, and recordkeeping. Hands-on experience with ADP payroll processing is required, along with experience working within an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience supporting Payroll in a high-volume environment.
Hands-on experience processing payroll using ADP
Experience working within an ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, or a similar platform
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Formulas / VLOOKUP's)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with employees and management teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or large workforce environments
Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, UKG, Kronos, or SAP SuccessFactors
Experience assisting with payroll audits, payroll tax administration, timekeeping, benefits administration, or employee relations processes
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
