Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Compounding Technician to support the Creative Lab by compounding fragrance samples in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Day-to-day work is driven by assignments from the lab operations manager, perfumers, and lab leadership, where the individual will open and review process orders, gather the required raw materials, and execute formulations with a high level of precision. The position requires accurately weighing and pouring materials within a 1 milligram tolerance, followed by mixing and preparing fragrance samples for evaluation. Success in this position depends on strong attention to detail, the ability to follow exact formulas, and adherence to established lab processes and safety protocols.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (or related field) OR Coursework in Chemistry (college-level or advanced high school, such as AP Chemistry)
Basic understanding of lab safety protocols and chemical handling
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements
Comfortable working in a lab environment with repetitive, process-driven tasks
Ability to follow detailed instructions and formulations
Foundational knowledge lab safety/best practices
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience or training in fragrance compounding (FIT fragrance program or similar highly preferred)
Additional exposure to lab environments
