Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Business Analyst focused on Workday Reporting for a client in the construction industry. This role will lead the design, administration, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Workday reporting environment. The Senior Business Analyst will partner with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop reporting strategies, maintain reporting architecture, support dashboards and calculated fields, troubleshoot reporting issues, and ensure enterprise data is accurate, accessible, and actionable. This person will serve as a subject matter expert for Workday reporting and will help translate business questions into meaningful reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on Workday reporting experience, strong business analysis skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, HRIS Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting Workday reports, dashboards, scorecards, calculated fields, and reporting solutions
- Experience with Workday Report Writer, Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, Dashboards, and Calculated Fields
- Strong understanding of Workday business objects, report security, reporting best practices, and reporting governance
- Ability to gather requirements, document business needs, and translate business questions into reporting and analytics solutions
- Experience supporting HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Compensation, Time Tracking, or organizational reporting
- Strong data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance skills
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Workday Reporting certification or equivalent Workday reporting experience
- Power BI, Azure Fabric, or broader enterprise analytics experience
- Experience establishing reporting standards, report inventories, governance processes, and data quality initiatives
- Experience supporting Workday releases, report testing, UAT, validation, and post-release support
- Background in construction, manufacturing, industrial, or operationally complex environments
