Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to drive high-quality digital product delivery within a global retail technology environment. This role is based out of a centralized engineering hub in Bengaluru, supporting large-scale retail store systems and consumer-facing applications.

The Senior QA Engineer will own test strategy, automation quality, and release readiness across multiple initiatives. This individual will partner closely with engineering, product, and design teams to build scalable testing frameworks, improve release confidence, and ensure seamless customer experiences across in-store and digital platforms.
Key responsibilities include defining testing standards, building and scaling automation coverage, identifying risk, and influencing cross-functional teams to adopt best-in-class QA practices. This role also requires hands-on execution in automation and strong ownership of end-to-end quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Own and drive end-to-end QA strategy across multiple programs, including test planning, execution, and quality reporting
- Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using modern tools to improve regression coverage and release confidence
- Partner with engineering and product teams to embed quality early in the development lifecycle
- Define and implement testing standards, methodologies, and best practices across teams
- Lead test execution cycles, including test data setup, environment coordination, and defect tracking
- Identify, assess, and communicate risks that impact release timelines or product quality
- Review automation code and provide guidance on scalability, maintainability, and coverage
- Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and faster release cycles
- Mentor junior QA resources and elevate team-wide testing capabilities
- Provide clear and concise reporting on testing metrics, defects, and release readiness to stakeholders
