Job Description
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to support a strategic platform integration project. This individual will play a key role in evaluating, enhancing, and expanding the organization's automation capabilities while helping drive a more mature quality engineering practice. The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years of experience in QA Automation with strong Python development skills and the ability to design, build, and maintain automation frameworks from scratch. This person will assess the current automation approach, identify gaps, and develop scalable solutions across APIs, backend services, databases, and end-to-end application workflows. Candidates should be comfortable working in Linux environments, utilizing Linux commands to investigate issues, analyze platform behavior, and support troubleshooting efforts. Experience integrating QTest with Jira, as well as implementing automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, is highly preferred. This role requires a strong understanding of automation framework architecture, Agile methodologies, and modern quality engineering best practices. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of maturing automation programs, integrating testing into development workflows, and solving complex quality challenges across both frontend and backend systems. Experience supporting enterprise platform integrations, financial services applications, or large-scale transformation initiatives is a plus. Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for someone who can articulate how they have approached automation challenges in the past, evaluated existing solutions, and delivered strategic improvements that drive long-term quality and efficiency. This individual will be based onsite in Hyderabad, India, and will work approximately 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM IST, collaborating closely with global stakeholders and technical teams.
