A Client of Insight Global is seeking an infrastructure-focused Virtual Desktop Engineer to join their team in Tampa. This position is responsible for building, configuring, deploying, and maintaining enterprise virtual desktop environments for their internal users. Additional responsibilities include Image management, Application delivery, Platform configuration, Platform maintenance, and regularly working within cloud-hosted virtual desktop technologies and related infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience
3-4+ years of IT Admin or Engineering experience
2+ years specifically supporting enterprise virtual desktop environments as an admin or engineer
MS Intune (endpoint management)
PowerShell scripting experience
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix, or VMware engineering experience
Hands-on experience with deployments, configuration, image management, monitoring, and compliance
Must understand cloud infrastructure concepts supporting virtual desktop environments
Demonstrated longevity/tenure in previous roles (no short term contract hopping)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred)
