Job Description
This role is a hands-on Senior Engineer embedded in a small, cross-functional squad focused on testing new business strategies.
The Senior Engineer is accountable for building and shipping high-quality software, working closely with the Lead Engineer, Product, and Delivery. This role plays a critical part in translating ideas into working solutions quickly, while ensuring alignment with Product Engineering standards and long-term platform sustainability.
This is a build-first role — focused on delivering features end-to-end, contributing to rapid experimentation, and maintaining strong engineering discipline as the team iterates and learns.
Hands-On Engineering (~70–80%)
• Design, build, and ship full-stack features across the stack
• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces
• Build and evolve APIs and services on AWS serverless architecture
• Define and manage infrastructure using
Infrastructure as Code
• Contribute actively to code reviews ensuring high-quality, maintainable solutions
Technical Contribution & Collaboration (~20–30%)
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Engineer to execute squad priorities
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and design discussions
• Identify risks, tradeoffs, and improvement opportunities
• Contribute to engineering standards and developer experience improvements
Innovation & Experimentation
• Support rapid iteration and testing of new ideas
• Balance speed with quality in delivery
• Leverage feature flags for safe experimentation
• Ensure experimental work evolves into scalable solutions
• Actively surface and address technical debt

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks
• Experience building applications on AWS serverless architecture
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
• Experience in CI/CD environments with modern practices
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to operate in fast-moving environments
