Job Description
The CNC Machinist will set up and operate CNC milling machines for a leading aerospace manufacturer, using established programs, fixtures, and methods to produce high‑precision parts in accordance with blueprints and work orders. This role includes making machine edits and adjustments, applying proper feeds, speeds, and cutting tools, inspecting parts for dimensional accuracy, and managing multiple machines within a cellular environment. The machinist will ensure production quality and output standards are met, accurately complete required documentation, maintain equipment and work areas, perform basic operator maintenance, monitor coolant levels, and support less‑experienced operators while adhering to all safety, quality, and company policies.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of CNC machining experience, specifically with CNC milling machines
- Ability to set up, operate, and adjust CNC mills using established programs, tooling, and fixtures
- Working knowledge of feeds, speeds, cutting tools, and part inspection
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders
- Experience operating multiple machines in a cell or production environment
- Manufacturing environment experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in precision, regulated, or aerospace/defense manufacturing environments
- Strong dimensional inspection and measurement skills
- Experience assisting or training newer machine operators
